The United States team has qualified for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals after topping their group by defeating Denmark and Slovakia.
In the opening match against Slovakia, Hailey Baptiste defeated Renata Jamrichova in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
Following that victory, Bernarda Pera overcame Rebeka Sramkova in a close match, 7-6(2), 7-5.
In the doubles match, which was the final rubber, Mia Pohankova and Tereza Mihalikova won against Desirae Krawczyk and Asia Muhammad with a score of 3-0, due to retirement.
Ultimately, the USA secured a 2-1 victory in the overall tie.
