Tommy Paul’s Pickup Repossessed Due to Missed Payments

Sports News

World No. 12 Tommy Paul revealed his vehicle was repossessed in Florida. The American tennis player shared the news after advancing to the semifinals of the Rome Masters.

Paul commented on his week, saying, “This week on the court has been awesome. I feel like I`m playing better each match. Obviously, like I said before, I wish I would`ve served a little better today. But overall, things on the court are going okay.”

He then spoke about his off-court troubles: “Off the court has been a little bit hectic this week. I had my truck repossessed. I missed a couple payments, and it was repossessed this week right out of my house. I`m grinding to get it back. Everyone who knows me knows that is my baby. So, yeah, working hard to get it back.”

Asked where the repossession occurred, Paul replied, “In Florida.”

When asked for the city, he added, “In Boca Raton. I`m not going to give the full address,” he said with a laugh.

On the cost to retrieve it, Paul stated, “I already paid it. One thousand bucks. My coach is supposed to pick it up today.”

Regarding the truck`s make and model, Paul explained, “It`s a Ford F-150. Ford took it back. I can`t wait to get it back. I had to win a couple matches to pay for it,” he joked during his post-match interview.
