Sinner Explains Leg Discomfort During Paul Match

Sports News

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner discussed his physical state after advancing to the final of the Rome Masters. He experienced discomfort in his leg during the first set of the semifinal against Tommy Paul.

Sinner secured the win with a score of 1/6, 6/0, 6/3 and is now set to play against Spain`s Carlos Alcaraz in the final.

“I got a small blister back in the third or fourth round. It prevents me from moving well in certain moments,” the Italian said after the match. “And today I felt it even more than yesterday. But I`m not worried; there`s just a bit of stiffness, but that`s normal. But yes, I need to sort this issue out.”

“However, no excuses. The adrenaline will give me energy in the final. I`m not worried about Sunday,” he added.
