Sabalenka Sets Personal Record with Miami Open Final

World No. 1 Belarusian tennis player, Aryna Sabalenka, has achieved a personal milestone by reaching her fourth final within the first three months of the year. This accomplishment comes after a dominant semi-final victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, where she defeated Italian player Jasmine Paolini, the world`s seventh-ranked player, with a score of 6-2, 6-2.

Sabalenka`s record for most finals in a year is seven, achieved in 2024.

In the final match, the 26-year-old Sabalenka will compete against the winner of the match between American Jessica Pegula and Alexandra Eala from the Philippines. Their match is scheduled for the night of March 27th to 28th.

The current champion of the Miami women`s tournament is American tennis player Danielle Collins.
