World No. 11 Paula Badosa has withdrawn from the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami due to a back problem.
In the fourth round, the Spanish player was supposed to compete against Alexandra Eala. The Filipina tennis player advanced to the quarterfinals without playing and will now face either Iga Swiatek or Elina Svitolina.
Earlier in the tournament, Badosa defeated Victoria Mboko and Clara Tauson.
