Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa, ranked world No. 11, has announced her withdrawal from the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami and the WTA 500 tournament in Charleston.
Badosa explained on social media that chronic pain and the need for constant recovery are forcing her to miss these competitions. She also mentioned that the back injury, which caused her to withdraw from the Miami tournament after winning her third-round match against Clara Tauson, requires further rehabilitation.
Badosa expressed hope for a quick return to the court and thanked fans for their support.
