The ONE Championship Fight Night event scheduled for Friday in Thailand has been cancelled, the organization has announced.
ONE Friday Fights 102 was supposed to take place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. However, a significant 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar late Thursday, and its effects have been widely felt, including in Bangkok, which is over 600 miles away.
News reports have shown extensive damage across affected regions, and tragically, there have been reports of deaths in Bangkok due to a building collapse. A 6.4 magnitude aftershock hit the area in the hours after the initial 7.7 quake.
Additionally, although there hasn`t been an official announcement yet, the ONE event planned for April 4 in Bangkok is also now uncertain.
