Wimbledon 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios has responded to a social media post drawing parallels between himself and Kazakhstan`s Alexander Bublik.
A user on the social platform X initiated the comparison by writing:
“Peak Bublik is what we imagined peak Kyrgios could be. I`m sure he will beat a top-8 seed in the third round of Wimbledon, unless he plays Jannik Sinner or Carlos Alcaraz.”
In response, Kyrgios shared his thoughts:
“Interesting perspective. But again, of course we can`t really judge how two guys go about it their own way. Bublik is fun to watch and I appreciate the entertainment and the outcome. Keep going, Bublik.”
This exchange follows Alexander Bublik`s recent significant achievement: winning the ATP 500 tournament in Halle, Germany. In the final, he defeated Russia`s Daniil Medvedev in straight sets with a score of 6/3, 7/6(4).
