What are the League Two playoffs and how do they work?
After the regular season, the teams finishing fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh in League Two qualify for the playoffs.
The League Two playoffs begin with two-leg semi-finals, followed by a final match where one team will win promotion to League One.
In the semi-finals, the fourth-placed team plays against the seventh-placed team, and the fifth-placed team plays against the sixth-placed team.
Automatic promotion is for the top three teams in League Two. The playoffs decide the fourth promoted team.

This match decides the fourth team promoted to League One, following the semi-finals.
League Two final prize money
The financial rewards for winning the League Two play-off final are modest compared to higher leagues. There is no large cash prize for this game.
Each League Two club gets £430,000 from the Premier League and £472,000 from the EFL for participation. There is no extra money for league position at this level.
