World No. 56 Jaume Munar from Spain commented on his victory (6-2, 6-3) over world No. 8 Daniil Medvedev from Russia in the second round of the Miami Masters.
Munar stated: “This victory means a lot. I feel great after all the work I’ve done to compete in such a tournament. I feel very comfortable here, and I’m playing great on hard courts this year. It was a bit tense at the end, but I’m satisfied with my performance.”
He added, “I’ve changed a lot: technique, tactics. Everything is working very well this year. I think I need to continue to improve to keep changing things. To see where my game can improve, and I think my team and I are doing that very well.”
