Jack Draper: I’ve Had a Great Year, But Want to Keep Working Hard

Sports News

World No. 6 Jack Draper, after reaching the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters, shared his reflections on how he has evolved over the past year. In his opening match, the British player decisively defeated Marcos Giron with a score of 6-1, 6-1.

– You`ve only been defeated by three players this season. Do these strong results inspire you to achieve even more?

– I`m not sure. Of course, I`m gaining confidence and experience. I`m also adapting a bit – last year I came here ranked 40th in the world, and now I`m sixth. I`ve had a fantastic year, but I`m determined to continue working hard.

People will definitely be watching me more closely now. And I am ready to fight and give my all on the court,” Draper said in an on-court interview.
