Former world number three Jo-Wilfried Tsonga expressed admiration for Novak Djokovic`s impressive language abilities. The two players communicated in French during a post-match interview on Amazon Prime Sport following Djokovic`s third-round match at Roland Garros.
Tsonga: “Hi Novak, it`s Jo. I don`t even know which language to speak with you in – French, English, German, Italian, Mandarin… Tell me!” (He laughs).
Djokovic: “In Chinese!” (He laughs). “We`re in Paris, so let`s try French, even though it`s not perfect.”
Tsonga: “Your French is perfect, just like your tennis today. Congratulations on the match!”
