Today, Czech professional tennis player Kateřina Siniaková is celebrating her 29th birthday. She receives numerous congratulations and wishes for continued success both on and off the court.
Born on May 10, 1996, in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, Kateřina`s family has a background in both sports and finance. Her father, Dmitry, holds Russian citizenship and was a professional boxer, while her mother, Hana, is Czech and works as an accountant. Kateřina also has a younger brother, Daniel.
Siniaková began playing tennis at the age of five and turned professional in 2012. By 2014, she had already made her Grand Slam debut, successfully navigating the qualifying rounds to reach the main draw of the Australian Open.
Her best singles performance at a major championship was reaching the fourth round (Round of 16) at Roland Garros in 2019. Throughout her career, Siniaková has secured 32 WTA titles, with two in singles and a remarkable thirty in doubles. Her career prize money earnings total $13,376,794.
Recognized as one of the premier doubles players of recent years, Kateřina has completed a career Grand Slam in doubles. Her notable victories include titles at the Australian Open (2022, 2023, 2025), Roland Garros (2018, 2021, 2024), Wimbledon (2018, 2022, 2024), and the US Open (2022). Having previously won the WTA Finals and an Olympic gold medal alongside Barbora Krejčíková in 2021, Siniaková currently holds the World No. 1 ranking in doubles. Last year, she added a second Olympic gold medal to her collection, competing in mixed doubles with Tomáš Macháč.
In 2018, Siniaková was also a key member of the victorious Czech team in the Fed Cup.
In singles, she reached her career-high ranking of World No. 27 in June 2024. Currently, she is ranked World No. 62.
