Grigor Dimitrov: Recent Years Have Been Extremely Tough

Sports News

World No. 18 Grigor Dimitrov commented on his 50th victory at the Masters 1000 level on clay. He defeated Valentin Vacherot in the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters (4-6, 6-3, 6-1).

“It`s pleasing to win 50 matches at the clay-court Masters events. It`s wonderful, especially at this stage of my career… I don`t take anything for granted.”

“The last two or three years have been extremely challenging both on and off the court. I`ve tried to work on myself and dedicate as much time as needed to put myself in the best possible position. Lately, I`ve started to appreciate the competition in tennis even more. It`s great,” Dimitrov said in an on-court interview.
