Джек Дрэйпер: Синнер не заслуживает того негатива, который получает

Sports News

World No. 6 Jack Draper has once again expressed his support for Jannik Sinner, who is currently serving a suspension after testing positive for clostebol.

“When people ask me about Jannik, I tell it like it is: I consider him a very genuine, pleasant person and, moreover, an incredible tennis player. I am sure that in this situation he had absolutely no idea about anything at all. That`s how life is, sometimes mistakes happen.”

“Regarding my relationship with him as a person, I think it`s important for people to know and acknowledge: this guy is a good-hearted and good human being. He doesn`t deserve the negativity he`s receiving,” Draper was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

The Briton also commented on his recent training session with Sinner.

“I knew Jannik was free and would be training on clay in Monte Carlo, so his team and I arranged for me to go there for three or four days and practice.”

“If you`re going to train with someone, why not with the best in the world, right? Of course, he`s only trained a little so far, but he`s still showing an incredible level. It was great to spend a few days with him.”

“I`m really looking forward to his return to the Tour. In my opinion, he`s missed here.”
