Legendary Swedish tennis player Bjorn Borg, an 11-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, has spoken about the one title he wished he had won during his illustrious career but couldn`t.
When asked if he had any regrets looking back on his career and if there was anything he felt he missed out on, Borg mentioned the US Open.
“Maybe winning the US Open,” Borg stated, according to Mundo Deportivo. “It would have been nice to win it, but I have no regrets.”
Borg reached the US Open final four times but was never able to secure the title. In 1976 and 1978, he was defeated by Jimmy Connors, and in 1980 and 1981, he lost to John McEnroe.
