Serbian point guard Aleksa Avramović, who recently parted ways with CSKA Moscow, shared high praise for his compatriot Novak Djokovic.
“Of course, he is our main star in Serbia, but I believe he is one of the greatest athletes in the world,” Avramović was quoted as saying by TASS. “I had the chance to meet him in Belgrade when we were being honored after winning medals at the Paris Olympics. Being near him, you understand the scale of his personality even more.”
He added, “By the way, at the Olympics, I watched the final from the stands, and it was incredible. Perhaps I will never see anything better in tennis.”
