Aryna Sabalenka Reaches Fifth Place All-Time in Clay WTA 1000 Wins

World number one Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has secured another significant victory at a clay WTA 1000 tournament. Her career winning percentage at clay WTA 1000 events now stands at 76.7%.

On May 9th, in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, Sabalenka defeated Russia`s Anastasia Potapova with a score of 6-2, 6-2.

Over her career, Sabalenka has accumulated 33 victories against 10 defeats at clay WTA 1000 tournaments. This impressive record places her fifth on the all-time list for wins at this level on clay.

Only four players have achieved more victories than Sabalenka at these events: Russians Maria Sharapova and Dinara Safina, American great Serena Williams, and Poland`s Iga Swiatek.
