World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, a three-time Grand Slam champion, playfully addressed her team after her victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami.
“I don`t remember the names of these guys,” Sabalenka joked with a laugh. “Thank you to the team. You are not just my team, you are my family. Unfortunately, we spend 24/7 together,” she added with a smile in an on-court interview.
In the Miami Open final, Sabalenka defeated American Jessica Pegula, the world`s fifth-ranked player, in straight sets. The match concluded with a score of 7-5, 6-2. This win marks the Belarusian`s 19th career title.
