The world`s number one Belarusian tennis player, Aryna Sabalenka, shared her thoughts on reaching the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA. In the semi-finals, she defeated Italian player Jasmine Paolini with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Following her victory, Sabalenka stated, “Jasmine is an incredible player. I knew I would have to fight for every point.”
She added, “I tried to focus on my serve and make sure I was getting low, as she was hitting the ball deep and flat. I really focused on my movement around the court. I`m very happy with how I played today.”
