Andy Roddick: Wimbledon is Djokovic’s ‘Last Best Grand Slam Chance’

Sports News

Former world No. 1 and 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick has offered his perspective on the future prospects of Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam title winner.

Roddick stated, “I think this is Novak`s last best chance to win a Grand Slam. I don`t know when the end will come, but I believe his greatest chances of winning are currently on grass. The game he`s showing today isn`t the Djokovic of five years ago, but the current version benefits most on this surface. He knows how to play here.”

He went further, confidently predicting Djokovic`s deep run at the upcoming tournament. “Moreover – I`m putting Novak in the final. I`m putting Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. I said what I said,” Roddick declared.

Roddick shared these views during a recording of the Served podcast.
