Sports News

Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev has shared his thoughts on beginning to work with Marat Safin as his coach. Rublev confessed that it`s currently difficult for him to predict the results of this cooperation.

Safin has become a part of the Russian player`s coaching staff.

“We have an easy connection. It’s simple things like, ‘Move your feet’,” Rublev explained.

“Currently, we are more focused on the tennis aspect, paying attention to it. I’m unsure if it’s a mental aspect or not. We will observe how things unfold at tournaments.”

“I personally don’t yet know what might result from this and how it will be. An opportunity just presented itself, I felt I could give it a try – and that’s it, we agreed. What will come of it is as much a secret to us as it is to everyone,” Rublev stated in an interview with `Bolshe!`.”
