Former world No. 9 Andrey Chesnokov has shared his perspective on Jannik Sinner`s return to the ATP Tour following a period of absence.
Chesnokov expressed his belief that despite not playing for three months, Sinner suffered minimal long-term consequences from his time away. “Sinner hasn`t played for three months, but besides match practice and potential prize money, he`s practically lost nothing,” Chesnokov stated. “He`s still young, so he will make up for everything. Sinner remained at world No. 1 in the ranking; no one even came close to him. Maybe the first few matches will be challenging, but I think he will quickly get back into shape,” Chesnokov was quoted as saying by TASS.
