Anastasia Potapova on Wrist Issue: Fluid Drained, Training to Resume in Days

World No. 38 Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova has provided an update on her recent injury.

Potapova was unfortunately forced to withdraw from the WTA 500 clay court tournament in Stuttgart, Germany on April 15th due to a buildup of fluid in her left wrist.

In a message on her Telegram channel, Potapova stated: `Update! Fluid is out, will start training in a couple of days. It`s a pity, of course, that such a minor thing prevents me from playing. Thank you all for your kind words. Appreciate it.`

Potapova was scheduled to face world number one Aryna Sabalenko of Belarus in the second round of the Stuttgart tournament.
